Made an appt. with Jr online and he got right back to me.   Joe came out and installed a very large whole house water filtration system that we had purchased online.  I was afraid to hire just anyone, and JA Plumbing installs these types of units all the time.  Joe’s attitude was great, he arrived on time, his work was excellent and prices were competitive.  Will definitely use them in the future for plumbing needs as they also install tankless water heaters and just about anything in the plumbing category….I also like the fact that you can email them and that they have a website.

I found these guys online when I was looking to get someone to install a tankless water heater at my house and found out that they are the ONLY platinum Rinnai installer in the bay area. I set an appt and JR came out and gave me an estimate which was cheaper than a quote I got from another company, but it also comes with the peace of mind of knowing that the work is being done by a competent company not just a guy with a truck calling himself a “plumber”.  My Tankless was installed quickly and it works great.  I’m very happy with the never ending hot water in my bathroom. So glad I called JA Plumbing!  I just wish I would have called before my husband tried to fix it himself!  Our main line clogged up on Saturday afternoon  causing all kinds of yuckiness to back up into the bathtub. I called Roto-rooter but they couldn’t make it to our house for till 6:30.  They didn’t show up till 8 and when the guy got there he said the only way to fix the clog is to go on the roof and snake the pipes from the vent. Of course this would require another person to help him and cost over $300. As if that wasn’t enough, he would have to come back some time the next day.

This was exactly what I was afraid of. My husband being the macho ( and cheap) man that he is, decided he could do the job himself so off he went to home depot the next day for a snake.

Obviously, my husband didn’t help the situation or I wouldn’t be writing this review right now.  After two attempts, $150 spent, and another day and a half, I called a few more plumbers for estimates. All of them telling me the  same thing as the first guy.

I’m scared to death of being taken for a long,expensive ride, so I made one last call to JA.

They set up an appt for the very next morning to take a look. It was scheduled for 8am but no one came. I called back to see what the hold up was.( I’m a reasonable person, there could have been an emergency.) Brittany apologized and sent someone out right away. Alfredo was there within minutes and low and behold, wouldn’t even have to go on the roof!  He scheduled someone tp come later in the day as his arm was hurt and he could not do the job himself.

My appt was for 3. They called at 11 and said Joe could be there in an hour. He was right on time. Listened to my problem  and got right to work. The whole thing took 45 minutes and cost only $137.

I’ll be calling them again for more work building a cleanout. They are honest, reasonably priced and definitely my saviors!
